About this tour
Experience the Ultimate Private Solheimajökull Glacier Hike & South Coast Adventure
Escape the crowds and embark on an unforgettable private tour through Iceland’s spectacular southern coast – crafted just for you. Your day begins with a visit to the enchanting Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you’ll walk behind its shimmering cascade – an intimate, one-of-a-kind moment few ever forget. Nearby, the powerful Skogafoss waterfall awaits, steeped in local legend and surrounded by dramatic scenery that captures the magic of Icelandic folklore.
The highlight of your private journey is a personalized glacier hike on Solheimajökull. With your own expert guide, you'll gear up with crampons and helmets and set foot on a frozen wonderland of ice ridges, deep crevasses, and stunning formations. Learn the secrets of the glacier’s formation and its dynamic, evolving landscape-at your pace, with your questions, and in total comfort.
Your adventure continues to the iconic black-sand beach of Vikurfjara, where you’ll explore the sea stacks rising from the North Atlantic. Take your time wandering the coastline and visiting the charming seaside village of Vík – no rush, no crowds, just pure Icelandic beauty shared in privacy.
Throughout the day, soak in breathtaking views of the South Coast’s towering cliffs, vast volcanic plains, and cascading waterfalls – all while enjoying the exclusivity of a tour tailored to your interests.
